3 Unique Summer Wanderlust-Inspired Travel Picks
Somehow it's already the last week in August. While Fall is one of my favorite seasons, it's always a little sad to see summer go. Whether you're dreaming of one last hot-weather Oregon adventure or you're ready to hop on the next plane to Bali, I've included a round-up of my top three summer wanderlust picks that keep the spirit of summer shining on.
Surf, Bike, and Get Your Yoga on in Bali at The Chillhouse
Say OM. In Canggu, Bali, relaxation and playtime collide at The Chillhouse surf, bike, and yoga retreat. It's also shoulder season in Bali at the moment, which means fantastic deals are to be had on airfare. Between relaxing the sun, learning how to surf the clear blue waves, and exploring the hidden paths of Bali by bike fueled by fresh açai bowls, The Chillhouse is one of my ultimate getaway picks.
Catch a World-Class Fùtbol Match and Dinner in Barcelona
Pitch perfect. Arguably the best fùtbol team in the world, FC Barcelona recently teamed up with the Hotel Arts Barcelona for a one-of-a-kind experience this summer. Hotel Arts Barcelona Executive Chef Antonio Saez serves authentic Catalan dishes all while overlooking the FC Barcelona pitch. Diners have the opportunity to tour the FC Barcelona training facilities. Bring a big appetite, it could get Messi. Be sure to stop by again to catch a fùtbol match in action.
EXPLORE OREGON IN STYLE WITH GLAMPING HUB
S'more adventures. Glamping Hub has the hook up on all sorts of out-of-the-ordinary oregon weekend getaways. (Think Airbnb, but for cabins, yurts, and luxury tents.) For example, this adorable vintage campervan in Hood River would be the ideal starting point for a weekend of hiking in the Gorge. My favorite pick on the site is this luxury tent in Terrebonne near Smith Rock State Park and Bend. I feel like Meryl Streep in Out of Africa would definitely approve. The upcoming fall, I'll be checking out one of the Oregon weekend getaways. Stay tuned for the full coverage!
